Basic Flintknapping-Making Stone Tools

Age: 18 and older; 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM; Fee $45
This 4 week course will teach the basics of making stone tools - starting with spalling a core, reducing the spall, to pressure flaking. Tools and material will be provided, but students must provide their own goggles and gloves. Class size is limited. Course runs for 4 consecutive Wednesdays in the Pavilion - May 7, 14, 21 and 28.
