The Friends of JPPMs fundraising event, Affair at Point Farm, takes place at the Pavilion on the grounds of Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum. The breathtaking view is only a part of the reason this fundraiser should not be missed. There are terrific live and silent auction items, incredible food and drinks with a Southern Maryland flare, and a great group of friends to enjoy a lively evening, but most of all the funds raised will go a long way to help the Friends support the archaeology, history, education and heritage programs, projects and events at Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum. Held under the Pavilion, rain or shine, this annual benefit Auction and Dinner takes place this September 11, 2009 from 6:00 9:00. This year's honorary chair is Sentator Thomas V. "Mike" Miller. A portion of the ticket price, donations, sponsorships, and/or purchase of auction items are tax deductible as allowed by law. Limited tickets are available by calling 410-586-8515.
